Surprise Encounter for today

I can only guess that a few may be reading this blog. Coming out a classroom where I lectured on Theory of Programming, a enthusiastic being approached me to ask "Sir, what is your opinion about linguistic diversity? Is it good or bad?". I got lost for a moment. In my mind is a question on the context of such a question. So I just answered, "I am not sure if it is good or bad. I just know that linguistic diversity is a reality in our world. There is linguistic diversity an aspect of cultural diversity. Having said that, as members of the computing community (I am assuming that the person who was talking to me is a Computer Science or an It student)
