i-uya

I-uya is a word in a Kankana-ey dialect which means "to favorably yield".
The usual context where i-uya is used is when an older member of a family would restrain himself/herself from consuming a limited available amount of food so that a younger member of the family will have the food.

I-uway yo san makan sin i-ib-a yo ay magay panlako da.
